About Us
Where it all began
My name is Craig. I’m born and raised in Barnsley, now living in Royston, and I started Pure Clean Yorkshire back in 2013 with a Citroën Berlingo that was falling to pieces, a very basic setup, and a clear idea of how I wanted to run a window cleaning business.
At the time, I saw a lot of customers being let down. Missed visits, rushed jobs, unclear pricing, and very little communication. I knew that if I focused on turning up when I said I would, doing the job properly, and treating people fairly, the work would look after itself.
In the early days, it was just me. Every round was built up the hard way, door by door, job by job. Over time, customers started recommending me to friends and neighbours, and the business grew naturally from there.
More than ten years on, that same approach still sits at the centre of everything we do. While the company has grown and the team has expanded, I’m still hands-on behind the scenes making sure standards stay high and customers get the level of service I’d expect at my own home.
What makes us different
Our team is fully trained, uniformed, insured, and paid properly. We don’t use casual subcontractors or rotate unfamiliar faces. When you book with us, you know who’s turning up and what standard of work to expect.

Alongside regular window cleaning, we also offer fascia, soffit and gutter cleaning, conservatory roof cleaning, and external maintenance services. Many customers choose us for multiple services because they like dealing with one reliable company who already knows their property.
